MSC UpdateOctober 2025
We hope that this article finds you well at the midpoint of your semesters. With more auditions and residency interviews quickly approaching, we want to take a moment to wish everyone the very best as you prepare for this exciting and busy time! We want to extend a huge thank you to all of the participants of our TCEP-MSC Colloquium on September 27 — 28. We had the privilege to hear from members of TCEP, ACEP, current EM residents, and faculty from 18 residency programs across the state of Texas! Your participation and engagement made the event a true success! Between both days we had over 40 individuals on the call with various people coming and going throughout the day. We are extremely grateful for the continued support of the TCEP-MSC programming, and we look forward to hosting more events that bring our EM community together throughout the state! We also wanted to take the time to spotlight our Mentorship Program. As interview season approaches, there is never a better time to connect with a mentor- especially one who is familiar and actively involved in the EM landscape in Texas. Our mentorship program offers the unique opportunity to connect with mentors across the state of Texas to gain personalized insights into residency programs across the state. This opportunity allows students to gain perspectives and grow professionally within the field of Emergency Medicine! As always, we want to encourage students to join TCEP/ACEP/EMRA. In the following months, the TCEP-MSC will be sharing detailed information regarding all of the perks that come with the TCEP/ACEP/EMRA membership. We look forward to connecting with you all at TCEP-CONNECT this year in Rockwall, Texas. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow members, network with residency programs, present research, and build connections within the field of EM! Read more about the opportunity to submit abstracts for the TCEP-CONNECT research forum! Thank you all for the continued support of the TCEP-MSC and we look forward to connecting with you all! All the best, Andrew Flanagan TCEP-MSC Chair DID YOU KNOW?
