
Call for Applications: Medical Student Committee (MSC)
Are you a medical student passionate about Emergency Medicine and looking to get more involved at the state level? The Texas College of Emergency Physicians (TCEP) is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 Medical Student Committee (MSC).
Led by EM-bound medical students, the MSC connects students with mentorship, advocacy, leadership experience, and educational resources designed to strengthen EM knowledge, support navigation of the Residency Match, and help build more competitive Emergency Medicine applicants.
Applications are being accepted for the following positions:
- Chair (MS3 or MS4)
- Secretary-Editor
- Advocacy Coordinator
- Project Coordinator
- Social Media Coordinator
Please review the duties and responsibilities of MSC leadership positions closely before submitting your online application.
Application Requirements:
- Completed online application form, submitted by February 22, 2026. Application must include:
- Current curriculum vitae (CV); and,
- Current headshot; and,
- Letter of Intent.
MSC Leadership Requirements:
- Active member of TCEP/ACEP (throughout term)
- Currently enrolled in a Texas medical school
